JEFFREY LOUIZIA
Born and raised in Boston, Jeffrey Louizia discovered his love for dance at Boston Arts Academy. Proficient in many styles of dance, Jeffrey has studied extensively in ballet, tap, modern jazz, modern, hip hop, krump as well as traditional Haitian Folk dance. He has studied with such dance masters as Dianne Walker of "Black & Blue", Mark Morris, Bill T. Jones.and Mandy Moore He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance from Dean College. Mr. Louizia’s performances have taken him all across New England up and down the Eastern US seaboard, West Coast, and into Canada. His strong base in choreography has led him to choreograph for MC Hammer and direct for his family based dance company Arc en Ciel Dance Troupe Inc, a Haitian folkloric dance co. Jeffrey is also the Director and founder of Lovolution A worldwide movement where love and self worth are brought to awareness through dance. Since moving to Los Angeles he has been in many music videos and industrials including Sketchers, Black Eyed Peas “Rock Your Body,” Taio Cruz “Dirty Picture,” Ace Hood ft lil Wayne and rick ross "Hustle" and American Idol winner Alexandra Burke’s “Start Without You.” Jeffrey Louizia is currently dancing with Odyssey dance theater performing productions thriller and Romeo and Juliet, in salt lake city Utah and touring Europe. He is also a featured Dancer in the movie dear dumb diary also the hip hop director at the pointe dance school in Alpine Utah. Jeffrey Louizia loves to teach, motivate and inspire as well as being inspired by all who share and do not share his love for dance. He truly believes that in being your true self and living to your fullest you must walk in love.
KELLIE MESSERLY
Kellie’s passion for dance began when she was 3 years old. Growing up, she trained competitively in Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet, Tap & Contemporary at The Winner School. She was a member of the Alta High Drill Team for 3 years where she was the Drill Mistress of her state winning team. While in high school, Kellie won the title of Miss Dance/Drill Team Utah. Kellie was then invited to Nagoya, Japan where she won the title of Miss Dance/Drill Team International and won top honors with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Award. Kellie then continued her education at the University of Utah where she was the head cheerleader. Kellie danced professionally with Odyssey Dance Utah for seven years. She was the director of Dance Utah Summer Camp. Kellie had the opportunity to direct Odyssey’s Junior Company, O2, for two years.
Kellie’s real passion is teaching and choreographing. She has been teaching for over 25 years. She was nominated for the Who’s Who Among Top Teachers. She has choreographed for Odyssey Dance Theatre, Miss Utah, dancers on Star Search, dancers on So You Think You Can Dance, and Dancing with the Stars. Kellie has choreographed the musicals Peter Pan, Footloose, Rag Time and Wizard of Oz at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre.
Kellie’s students have won many National titles, have been featured dancing on So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars, Broadway Stages in New York, at Julliard, on tour with pop stars, and dancing internationally.
Kellie was a co-founder of The Vibe Performing Arts. In 2011 the Vibe was finalists on Paula Abdul’s dance show “Live to Dance.” She has choreographed and directed shows with the Vibe including, Move, One Night Only, and Evolutions of Dance. In January 2012, the Vibe danced in Hong Kong, China in the Chinese New Year parade celebration. Kellie is currently teaching dance full time at American Leadership Academy in Spanish Fork, Utah and teaching at multiple studios in Utah.
